Randie O’Neil is back on the scene with a brand new studio EP: “Here I Stand”

December 2020 - Randie O’Neil is a singer and songwriter whose sound blurs the lines between authentic Americana, folk, and other styles. Her most recent studio EP, “Here I Stand,” is a collection of emotionally powerful and engaging songs. The release serves as an amazing taste of the artist’s vision and creativity, and a deeper insight into her storytelling sensibilities. Randie has a way to write music that is incredibly easy to connect with, and everything seems to come together effortlessly, like the pieces of a puzzle.

The EP features 5 songs, including the opening number, “I Walk Alone,” and the beautiful title track itself, which is one of the highlights on this release. The emotional “It Should Have Been You,” follows right after, while “Wings to Fly” is a hopeful and uplifting number that is one of my favorite compositions on this EP. Last but not least, Wilderness Man is a really beautiful closing song, highlighting Randie’s storytelling skills and giving the audience a special experience. Instrumentally, the EP hits the mark.

With traditional instruments, as well as keyboards and even programming, it is safe to say that this EP offers a balanced blend of old and new. The EP was recorded, produced, and mixed by Tom Gioi for Visionary Music Group, and Mike Kalajian at Rogue Planet Mastering gave the music its finishing touches. This EP is the next amazing achievement in a line of amazing independently released albums, which helped Randie establish her sound and artistic persona throughout the years. She has a very emotional voice, and her singing is a perfect match with the timeless, yet diverse creative range explored within the context of this EP.

Find out more about Randie O’Neil’s music and do not miss out on “Here I Stand,” which is currently available on Bandcamp as a digital release. The artist also released a compact-disc version, for those who prefer to hold a beautiful physical format in their hands (the CD also comes with the digital version of the album, so you get the best of both worlds). While the EP is going to be released on January 1st, 2021, pre-orders are already rolling out, and you can stream 3 of the 5 tracks on this release right away.
