Heart and soul

Smooth and charming, Americana/Folk-Pop artist Randie O'Neil puts her whole self into her writing and performances, using honest and witty lyrics about heartache and strength, paired with catchy melodies.

Award winning songwriter Randie O'Neil's storytelling comes from a sincere place. Her work as an adolescent intervention specialist brings a real-world perspective to her lyrics. Drawing on her own life story of having to survive an abusive alcoholic environment as a child, she helps students navigate a complicated world. Through her songs, she conveys a message of understanding and courage to face problems that almost all of us experience at some point in our lives.

Randie O’Neil’s upcoming EP, Ghost of Me, explores the different ways we hold on, let go, and find our way back to ourselves. Already released, “That Smile (No No Song)” brings a playful edge to a firm message: when a married man’s charming smile crosses a line, Randie knows her worth and says no. “These Walls” turns inward, reflecting on the defenses built through childhood trauma and the courage it takes to let someone see beyond them. Soon, Randie will release the title track, “Ghost of Me,” a song about feeling that something is missing and waiting for the pieces of yourself to come together.

‍ ‍“The sass of Cyndi Lauper, the troubadouring brilliance of Joni Mitchell, the punk drive of Joan Jett. These are some of the key building blocks of RANDIE O’NEIL’s immense artistry.” (April, 2024) Aldora Britain Records Issue 168.
